1. Introduction

GaadhiHel is a car-rental platform that helps users find rental firms, view available cars and create rental bookings. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we use it and how users can manage their information.

2. Information we collect

We may collect the following information:

• Google account information, including your name, email address and Google account identifier.
• Contact information you provide, such as your full name and telephone number.
• Booking information, including the selected car, rental start time, rental end time, duration, price and booking status.
• Basic technical information needed for authentication, security, troubleshooting and reliable operation of the service.

GaadhiHel does not receive or store your Google password. Authentication is handled through Google and Supabase.

3. How we use information

We use your information to:

• Create and maintain your GaadhiHel account.
• Authenticate you and keep your session secure.
• Create, display and manage your car-rental bookings.
• Allow the relevant rental firm to contact you concerning your booking, car collection, return or rental support.
• Prevent conflicting or unauthorized bookings.
• Improve security, reliability and customer support.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Information shared with rental firms

When you book a car, the firm responsible for that car may see the information needed to fulfil the rental. This may include your name, telephone number, selected car, rental period, booking status and price.

A rental firm is only permitted to access bookings associated with its own business. Firms must use customer information only to manage the relevant rental and communicate with the customer.

5. Service providers

We use trusted service providers to operate GaadhiHel. These currently include Google for account authentication and Supabase for authentication, database and backend services.

These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and security practices.

6. Data storage and security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. These include authenticated access, database access controls and row-level security rules that restrict which records users and rental firms can access.

No internet service can guarantee complete security. Users should protect their Google account and device against unauthorized access.

7. Data retention

We retain account and booking information for as long as needed to provide the service, manage rentals, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and meet applicable legal obligations.

Some information may be retained for a limited period after an account-deletion request where this is necessary for security, an active rental, dispute resolution or legal compliance.

8. Account deletion

You can request account deletion from the Profile section of the GaadhiHel mobile application. You can also review the deletion instructions on our account-deletion page.

An account cannot be deleted while it has an active rental. This protects the customer and rental firm while a vehicle remains rented. After the active rental ends, the user may submit the deletion request again.

9. Children's privacy

GaadhiHel is not intended for children who are not legally able to enter into a vehicle-rental agreement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for the purpose of renting vehicles.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, legal requirements or our data practices change. The effective date displayed at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
